My journey with God

Description

Family is the first structure we come to know as we progress from infancy to toddlerhood and mature to adulthood. It is the first place where we get to learn about belonging, about love, about what is right and wrong in life. To many, including myself, it is place where you can be vulnerable but still be accepted for who you are. It is like a tree with different branches, a beautiful tree that provides shade for those who come to sit under it. If all else was equal, the tree would live forever without losing its branches. My family tree had its roots grounded strongly in the word of God through our grandparents who were God fearing. Each branch came forth and made the tree even more beautiful as the stem was well grounded and rooted. It was, and still is, a beautiful tree that could only get better and better with the springing forth of each new branch. Nomsa Phiri
